FCIAC Football Weekly with the New Canaan Rams

FCIAC Football Weekly Final-02One of the new, exclusive features to The Ruden Report is going to be FCIAC Football Weekly, an online show.

Based on the results of the previous weekend’s games, we are going to pick a featured team. We will go to their town each Monday night and shoot a show at the restaurant of their choice.

This week’s featured team is New Canaan High School, which opened the season with a 50-21 win over Daniel Hand, ending its 26-game winning streak.

We shot the show Monday night at Bobby Valentine’s Sports Gallery in Stamford.

The first spot features New Canaan offensive coordinator John Marinelli and defensive coordinator Bill Kurtz. The second spot is with linebacker Cole Harris and defensive end Connor Buck. And the final spot features wide receiver Alex LaPolice and quarterback Nick Cascione.

Thanks again to Don Boyle, the founder and owner of SportingNewsCT.com, for doing the filming, and BlueStreak Sports Training, Karl Chevrolet and Innovative Health & Rehabilitation, the sponsors that are making this all possible.

Enjoy the show.

  1. Dave,
I began following the Ruden Report in 2008 and really enjoy your work. Really like the addition of the FCIAC FBall Weekly and your first report on New Canaan was a really good one. NC looks like they have a very talented team…again!

Good luck the rest of the season!
