The CIAC held is state championship football media day Wednesday morning at The Aqua Turf. The teams’ coaches, Darien’s Rob Trifone and Lou Marinelli, took a break for a candid and, when Marinelli is involved, always entertaining interview, reinforcing that while the rivalry between the towns might be emotional, the two have been and remain close friends.
