Vote For The 84 Sports Unsung Player Of The Week

We have seven athletes on the menu for the 84 Sports Unsung Player of the Week award. The vote runs until 10 a.m. on Wednesday. The winner gets our UPOTW T-shirt.

The finalists:

Vincent Ceci, Greenwich Football. Ceci made 10 tackles to key the Cardinals’ defense in a win over Danbury.

Charlotte Casiraghi, Wilton Field Hockey. Casiraghi, a freshman, anchored the Wilton defense in front of the back line and scored her first goal against Stamford. She played a key role attacking and defending corners in a win over Branford.

Jack Finnigan, New Canaan Football. Finnigan finished with 12 tackles in the Rams’ 32-6 win over New London.

Kyle Root, Brien McMahon Boys Soccer. Root came in the game at halftime with the Senators trailing Stamford, 4-0, and did not allow a goal as his team rallied for a 4-4 tie.
