We have three male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our new performance T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the male finalists:
Leo Magnus, New Canaan Basketball. Magnus returned from a concussion and scored 20 points in an FCIAC quarterfinal win over Wilton.
Liam Matthews, Greenwich Hockey. Matthews scored twice in a 3-1 win over Notre Dame-West Haven.
Riley Twiss, Staples Swimming. Twiss had two individual wins and was part of two winning relays in a meet against Trumbull.
Here are the female finalists:
Grace Crowell, New Canaan Hockey. Crowell scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Darien for the FCIAC championship.
Sidney Falterer, Fairfield Hockey. Falterer stopped 68 shots in a 5-1 loss to New Canaan, with 46 through two periods, when the score was 2-1.
Dennaye Hinds, St. Joseph Basketball. Hinds finished with 13 points, 25 rebounds, four blocks and nine steals in a pair of playoff wins.
Lexie Moskovit, Staples Basketball. Moskovit scored 25 points in a round of 16 playoff win over Norwalk.
Kianna Perry, Danbury Basketball. Perry finished with 16 points, five rebounds and six assists in an FCIAC quarterfinal win over Staples.
