Your finalists are: the Stamford football, New Canaan field hockey, Trumbull girls cross country, Fairfield Warde girls soccer, St. Joseph volleyball, Ridgefield boys cross country and Wilton boys soccer teams.
The Black Knights upset Staples, 14-13.
The Rams defeated Fairfield Ludlowe and Cheshire.
The Eagles swept a quad meet and then won the Wilton Invitational.
The Mustangs shut out Westhill, 4-0.
The Cadets held off Newtown, 3-2.
The Tigers won a meet against Fairfield Warde, Stamford and Wilton.
The Warriors defeated St. Joseph, 6-1.

This poll is a really great idea. But I do hope that winners aren’t purely based on gross vote count, since it would very hard for a school from a small town to compete with one from a large city. A fairer measurement needs to be weighted on town population, school enrollment, or perhaps division level.
