We have five male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.
Here are the male finalists:
Eddy Iuteri, Greenwich Football. Iuteri had three sacks in the Cardinals’ 49-3 win over Danbury.
Isaiah Johnson, Stamford Football. Johnson threw two touchdown passes and scored the deciding two-point conversion in a 14-13 win over Staples.
Zach LaPolice, New Canaan Football. LaPolice had seven receptions for 157 yards and three touchdowns in a 32-6 win over New London.
Alex Vargas, Brien McMahon Soccer. Vargas scored three second-half goals as the Senators rallied from a four-goal deficit to tie Stamford, 4-4.
Jack Wallace, St. Joseph Football. Wallace, in his first start, was 7 of 9 for 232 yards in just over a half of a 45-0.
Here are the female finalists:
Ana Carlos, Trumbull. Carlos scored the deciding goal in a 1-0 win over Fairfield Ludlowe.
Olivia Hahn, Wilton Field Hockey. Hahn finished with seven goals and one assist in two wins.
Viviana Luna, Brien McMahon Soccer. Luna finished with two goals and two assists in a 5-0 win over Stamford.
Molly Murphy, New Canaan Cross Country. Murphy finished first by nearly 25 seconds in the Rams’ quad meet win.
Tess Pisanelli, Ridgefield Cross Country. Pisanelli finished first with a time of 15:41.53 in the Tigers’ quad meet win.
