Join Team Ruden Report At Fairfield County Alzheimer’s Walk
Dave Ruden
09.18.2019
This year’s Fairfield County Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is on the morning of Oct. 13. It is a cause important to my family. My brother Jeffrey is this year’s chairperson.
This year I have decided for the first time to form Team Ruden Report in honor of my mother. My hope is with my platforms, it will encourage the local sports world I cover — athletes, coaches, parents and fans — to consider walking with me. I also hope those that are inclined would consider making a donation to support the Alzheimer’s Association of CT.
I have reached out to all the FCIAC fall coaches, and now I am reaching out to the public. Here is my team page, with more information and the chance to join my team and make donations: https://act.alz.org/site/TR/Walk2019/CT-Connecticut?team_id=573079&pg=team&fr_id=12122
Colony Grill is donating a $200 gift certificate to the team that raises the most money. And Yankees general manager Brian Cashman has donated two seats in his private box for a game next year to the person that makes the largest donation.
Alzheimer’s has affected too many families. Please consider walking with Team Ruden and donating.
Thanks. Dave.
