Team Of The Week

We have five male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will receive our Player of the Week T-shirts.

Here are the male finalists:

Padraig Colligan, Greenwich Soccer. Colligan recorded his eighth shutout in 11 games with a 1-0 win over Westhill.

Jack Dowd, Ridgefield Football. Dowd finished with three sacks in a 42-0 win over Chatham, NJ.

Deaglan Prendergast, St. Joseph Soccer. Prendergast, a freshman goalkeeper, posted a shutout in a 0-0 draw with Trumbull.

Charlie Sears, Darien Soccer. Sears had four assists in wins over Stamford and Westhill.

Alex Vargas, Brien McMahon Soccer. Vargas scored all four goals, including one on a bicycle kick, during a tie with Wilton.

Here are the female finalists:

Chanille Assevero, Stamford Soccer. Assevero scored four goals in wins over Westhill and Bridgeport Central.

Maddie Fried, St. Joseph Soccer. Fried scored both goals in a 2-1 win over New Canaan.

Kyle Kirby, Staples Field Hockey. Kirby scored four goals in a 5-0 win over Trumbull and two in a 5-1 win over Longmeadow, MA.

Isi Redrup, Ridgefield Field Hockey. Redrup scored four goals in two games for the Tigers.

Gracie Spataro, Darien Swimming. Spataro won the 100 breast, 500 free and was part of a winning 200 medley relay team in a win over Westhill/Stamford.
