We have eight teams on the menu for the Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Team of the Week vote.

The winning team will get our T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank. 

Your finalists are: the St. Joseph field hockey, Stamford girls soccer, Greenwich boys soccer, Staples field hockey, New Canaan boys golf, Darien girls swimming & diving, Norwalk boys soccer and Fairfield Warde volleyball teams.

The Cadets, with three wins in their first six seasons, defeated Stamford to give them two wins in a season for the first time.

The Black Knights shut out rivals Westhill and Norwalk.

The Cardinals defeated Danbury and Westhill by a combined 7-2 margin.

The Wreckers defeated Stamford and Trumbull by a combined 13-1 margin.

The Rams won the FCIAC championship.

The Blue Wave defeated rival New Canaan, 100-84.

The Bears blanked Brien McMahon and Norwalk by a 10-0 margin.

The Mustangs swept Westhill, Staples and Norwalk.
