Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have five male and eight female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Stefan Cordas, Trumbull Soccer. Cordas scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over New Canaan.

Tighe Cummiskey, Darien Football. Cummiskey had 234 total yards and scored four touchdowns in a 55-36 win over Wilton.

Alex Elia, Wilton Golf. Elia finished with the top individual score of 72 at the FCIAC championship.

Jake GodwinNorwalk Soccer. Godwin stopped seven shots for the clean sheet in a 3-0 win over Brien McMahon.

Dhallas Morgan, St. Joseph Football. Morgan made a late interception to preserve a 24-20 win over Greenwich.


Here are the female finalists:

Isa Biagini, Greenwich Field Hockey. Biagini scored six goals in a pair of shutout wins.

Katie Brand, Ridgefield Volleyball. In two wins and a loss, Brand finished with 42 digs and 38 service points.

Kaleigh Harden, New Canaan Soccer. Harden scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Darien.

Jess Leon, Staples Field Hockey. Leon finished with four goals and four assists in a pair of wins.

Alexa Pino, St. Joseph Soccer. Pino scored twice in a 3-2 win over Trumbull.

Jill Roberts, Wilton Soccer. Roberts scored all of the team’s goals in a win over Ridgefield and draw with Fairfield Ludlowe.

Miller Ward, Darien Swimming. Ward won two individual events and was part of two winning relay teams in a victory against New Canaan.

Alexa Weiner, Fairfield Ludlowe Soccer. Weiner scored the deciding in goal in a 1-0 win over Fairfield Warde for the town championship.
