We have seven male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the male finalists:
Doster Crowell, New Canaan Hockey. Crowell scored three goals in an FCIAC quarterfinal win over St. Joseph.
Cooper Dailey, Fairfield Ludlowe Basketball. Dailey set a school record with 38 points in a win over Maloney.
Will Ebert, Fairfield Warde Wrestling. Ebert won the 170-pound title at the State Open meet.
Henry Ertl, Ridgefield Hockey. Ertl posted a shutout in an FCIAC quarterfinal win over Greenwich.
Kevin Hyzy, Wilton Basketball. Hyzy scored 22 points in an FCIAC quarterfinal win over Danbury.
Kai O’Dell, Danbury Wrestling. O’Dell won the 138-pound title at the State Open meet.
Jey’Son Slade, Westhill Basketball. Slade scored 23 points in an FCIAC quarterfinal win over St. Joseph.
Here are the female finalists:
Rylee Donohue, Norwalk Wrestling. Donohue won the 126-pound title at the CIAC championships.
Calli Gilchrist, Brien McMahon Wrestling. Gilchrist won the 113-pound title at the CIAC championships
Mia Guster, Staples Gymnastics. Guster won the vault and floor exercise titles at the Class L championships.
Kaleigh Harden, New Canaan Hockey. Harden scored three goals in an FCIAC championship win over Stamford-Westhill-Staples.
Kirsten Rodriguez, St. Joseph Basketball. Rodriguez finished with a double-double, including 13 points, in an FCIAC championship win over Stamford.
Samantha Yap, Stamford Wrestling. Yap won the 106-pound title at the CIAC championships.
