We have eight female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the female finalists:
Kaitlyn Fay, Greenwich Track. Fay won the 55-meter CIAC Class LL title in 7.26.
Emma Johnson, Fairfield Warde Gymnastics. Johnson won her third straight all-around title at the FCIAC Championships with a score of 37.85.
Audrey Kpodar, Danbury Track. Kpodar won the 55-meter hurdles CIAC Class LL title in 8.74.
Kathryn Marchand, Trumbull Track. Marchand won the 3,200-meter CIAC Class LL title in 11:19.52.
Jill Roberts, Wilton Track. Roberts won the 55-meter hurdle CIAC Class L title in 8.43.
Tia Stapleton, Fairfield Ludlowe Track. Stapleton won the long jump CIAC Class LL title at 17-3.5.
Lauren Smith, New Canaan Track. Smith won the shotput CIAC L Championships at 36-5.5.
Francine Stevens, Staples Track. Stevens won the 300-meter CIAC Class LL title in 41.61.
