Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have five male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Eamon Boyle, Brien McMahon Football. Boyle was nine of 12 for 158 yards and two scores and ran for 59 yards and a touchdown in a 49-7 win over Fairfield Warde.

Max Ferrario, Greenwich Soccer. Ferrario scored a hat trick in a come from behind win over Norwalk.

Aryan Gautam, Trumbull Golf. Gautam shot a par-71 to win the Hap Holahan Tournament by one stroke.

Owen Lydon, New Canaan Football. Lydon headlined a strong defensive effort in a 2013 overtime win over Wilton.

Caleb Smith, Staples Football. Smith had 28 carries for 215 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-10 win over Stamford.


Here are the female finalists:

Defne Ceken, Westhill Volleyball. Ceken finished with 49 kills, 36 digs and 18 aces in four wins.

Natalie Chudowsky, Staples Soccer. Chudowsky finished with three goals and three assists in a win over Danbury and tie against St. Joseph.

Kimberly Velazquez, Fairfield Warde Swimming. Velazquez won the 200 free and 100 butterfly in a win over Westhill/Stamford.

Devon Russell, New Canaan Soccer. Russell scored twice in a 5-1 win over Danbury.

Alexa Pino, St. Joseph Soccer. Pino scored the Cadets’ goal in a tie with Staples and twice in a win over New Canaan.
