Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have five male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Cooper Brundige, Staples Baseball. Brundige, the No. 9 hitter, went 6 for 8, with five RBIs and four runs scored, in three games.

James Corry, St. Joseph Lacrosse. Corry finished with two goals and five assists in a win against Xavier to break the school scoring record.

Chris Keating, Ridgefield Baseball. Keating went 5 for 9 with three RBIs during the week and got the save in a 4-3 win over No. 2 Fairfield Warde.

Jackson Mountford, New Canaan Tennis. Mountford went 4-0 at number-one singles, with wins over Wilton, Stamford, Greenwich and Darien.

Sebastian Perez, Trumbull Track. Perez won the 100, 200 and 400 meters and was part of the winning 4×400 relay team in a victory over Greenwich.


Here are the female finalists:

Cameron Clark, Greenwich Softball. Clark went 6 for 9, with four RBIs and three stolen bases, and made two defensive plays that prevented multiple runs from scoring in three games.

Vivian Knott, Darien Softball. Knott threw a no-hitter against top 10 team Trumbull and in 15 innings over three games allowed two hits, struck out 20 and walked just one.

Maddie Pickett, Ridgefield Softball. Pickett threw a four-hit shutout, striking out nine and walking just one, and had an RBI in a 4-0 win over Fairfield Warde.

Liza Sieghart, New Canaan Tennis. Sieghart went 4-0 at number-three singles, with wins over Wilton, Stamford, Darien and Greenwich.

Taylor Wolf, Fairfield Ludlowe Lacrosse. Wolf reached the 100-goal mark with eight goals and two assists in a win over Trumbull.
