We have six male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Ben Coutant, Stamford Lacrosse. Coutant scored six goals in a school-record 12th win, over Law, and set the school record for points in a season.

Steven Hergenrother, Ridgefield Track. Hergenrother set the state record in the mile on Friday night.

Matt Hunt, Greenwich Tennis. Hunt had two wins in singles, including the clincher in the FCIAC semifinals.

Max Jarvie, Wilton Baseball. Jarvie threw a complete-game three-hitter in an eight-inning 8-0 FCIAC quarterfinal win over Norwalk.

Trevor Schuelke, Trumbull Baseball. Schuelke threw a complete-game six-hit shutout for a 3-0 FCIAC quarterfinal win over Darien.

Adam Udell, Staples Lacrosse. Udell finished with a goal and five assists in a 9-1 FCIAC quarterfinal win over Wilton.

Here are the female finalists:

Maddie Collins, Norwalk Softball. Collins threw a seven-hit shutout as the eighth-seeded Bears upset No. 1 St. Joseph 2-0 in the FCIAC quarterfinals.

Giselle DiPietro, Greenwich Lacrosse. DiPietro finished with three goals, two assists and two draw controls in an FCIAC quarterfinal win over Ridgefield. 

Lucy Kimberly, Trumbull Lacrosse. Kimberly stopped 21 shots in a game against Brien McMahon.

Sadie Klyver, Wilton Softball. Klyver struck out 12 in a win against Stamford to break the school record with 502 career strikeouts.

Rosanna Merturi, Fairfield Ludlowe Softball. Merturi went 5 for 5, with two RBIs and three runs, to reach the 100-hit career mark in a win over Wilton.

Noelle Tybur, Staples Lacrosse. Tybur, a freshman attack, scored five goals in a win against Weston.

Leah Zheng, New Canaan Tennis. Zheng, a freshman, beat Darien’s undefeated No. 1 singles player Sarah Donnelly, her second win of the week, in an FCIAC semifinals victory.
