We have seven male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Lucas Aunten, St. Joseph Soccer. Austen scored a hat trick in a 4-1 win over Westhill, the Cadets’ first in two years.

Jermel Bynum, Brien McMahon Football. Bynum had three receptions for 60 yards and a score, a 63-yard punt return for a touchdown, a sack, a forced fumble, four tackles for a loss and an interception in a 40-6 win over Warren Harding.

MJ D’Angelo, Greenwich Football. D’Angelo ran for 106 yards and two scores, including the game winner, and passed for 104 yards and a touchdown in a 21-20 win over Bishop Hendricken (RI).

Kody Goldman, Staples Football. Goldman scored four touchdowns, including the game-winner with eight seconds left, in a 28-21 win over Maloney.

Samir Muslim, Westhill Golf. Muslim was the low scorer in three straight matches and shot a two-under 34 against Norwalk.

Jack Schwartz, Wilton Football. Schwartz finished with 8 tackles, three assists, two interceptions and a fumble recovery in a 19-0 win over Ridgefield. 

Grant Stupak, Fairfield Ludlowe Football. Stupak went 22 of 32 for 353 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-14 win over Notre Dame-West Haven.


Zoe Desmarais, Ridgefield Soccer. Desmarais scored both goals in a 2-0 win over rival Wilton.

Whitney Hoegstedt, New Canaan Soccer. Hoegstedt scored twice in a 3-1 win over Brien McMahon.

Alyssa Santa, Fairfield Ludlowe Soccer. Santa made 12 saves in a 0-0 draw with Ridgefield.

Alina Sarkissian, Greenwich Volleyball. Sarkissian finished with 42 kills, 11 digs and 8 blocks during a 2-1 week for the Cardinals.

Ava Thatcher, Danbury Soccer. Thatcher finished with three goals and two assists in a 6-1 win over Norwalk.
