We have six male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the male finalists:
Jack Carroll, Greenwich Football. Carroll finished with 10 Tackles (8 solo), a blocked punt and a fumble recovery for a touchdown in a win over Danbury.
Ronan Hanley, Ridgefield Soccer. Hanley scored three of the Tigers’ four goals as they split a pair of games.
Brandt Kiser, Darien Football. Kiser had three sacks in a 49-14 win over Norwalk.
Michael Komisky, Danbury Cross Country. Komisky finished first in a meet with Darien, Greenwich and Bridgeport Central in 16:13.9.
Toby Plowright, Wilton Soccer. Plowright scored in wins over Westhill and St. Joseph to give him goals in three straight games.
Tucker Stevens, New Canaan Football. Stevens kicked three field goals, including a 45-yarder, in a 30-14 win over Fairfield Ludlowe.
Here are the female finalists:
Natalie Chudowsky, Staples Soccer. Chudowsky scored two of the team’s three goals in wins over Fairfield Ludlowe and Trumbull.
Laila Henry, Fairfield Warde Volleyball. Henry had 60 assists in wins over Fairfield Ludlowe and Danbury to reach 1,000 for her career.
Sophie Passalacua, Greenwich Cross Country. Passalacua won the Brewster Bear Classic in 19:01.
Lara Schulze, Danbury Soccer. Schulze finished with nine saves in a 1-0 win over Ridgefield.
Coco Scoma, Darien Soccer. Scoma made eight saves in a 1-0 win over Danbury.
