We have seven finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week vote.
The vote will run until noon on Wednesday. The winner will get our POTW T-shirt, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the finalists:
Liam Bond, Fairfield Ludlowe Football. Bond scored four touchdowns in a 38-16 win over Fairfield Warde.
Tony Butler, Danbury Football. Butler rushed for 249 yards on 23 carries and scored four times in an overtime loss to Ridgefield.
Jesse Covino, St. Joseph Football. Covino returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown with 21 seconds left to give the Cadets a 22-14 win over Trumbull.
Andrew Esposito, New Canaan Football. Esposito rushed for 123 yards on seven carries and scored four touchdowns in the Rams’ 34-0 win over Darien.
Justin Halky, Staples Football. Halky had two interceptions as part of a stifling defensive effort in a 27-0 win over Greenwich.
Ethan Hudson, Norwalk Football. Hudson rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns, scored on a 2-point conversion, had two tackles, four assists and a fumble recovery in a win over Brien McMahon.
Jonathan Paul, Stamford Football. Paul returned a fumble 35 yards for a score and defended a go-ahead 2-point conversion attempt with three minutes left in a 13-12 win over Westhill.
