We have eight male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players of the Week.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Alec Antipuesto, Stamford Boys Volleyball. Antipuesto had 33 kills and passed 2.64 and 2.06 in serve receive, respectively, in wins over Westhill and Darien.

Malik Denton, Bridgeport Central Volleyball. Denton finished with 59 kills and 28 digs in three matches.

Keito FukushimaGreenwich Volleyball. Fukushima finished with 68 digs and five assists during a 2-1 week.

Tyler Geriak, Fairfield Ludlowe Baseball. Geriak went 2-0, defeating Stamford and Wilton, allowing one run over 12 innings.

Luke Kiefer, Fairfield Warde Track. Kiefer threw a school record 154-10 to win the discus against Wilton.

Tiago Morales, Norwalk Volleyball. Morales finished with 31 kills, 10 digs, 6 assists, 5 aces and 4 blocks in two wins.

Adam Rosenfield, Ridgefield Baseball. Rosenfield pitched a complete-game 9-inning shutout against Greenwich. He struck out seven and allowed just three hits.

Owen Tosh, Trumbull Volleyball. Tosh had 42 assists and 10 digs in three wins.


Here are the female finalists:

Maddie Collins, Norwalk Softball. Collins won three games and went 5 for 13, with four RBIs and three runs, during a 4-0 week for the Bears.

Chloe Cui, New Canaan Golf. Cui was medalist or co-medalist in four wins for the Rams.

Katie Dzialo, St. Joseph Softball. Dzialo went 4-0, including a 2-1 win over New Canaan, with 48 strikeouts and 8 hits allowed over 22 innings.

Patty Greene, Fairfield Warde Softball. Greene batted. 500 with a .600 on-base percentage and four runs in three games.

Callie McCloskey, Darien Softball. McCloskey went 6 for 12 with three stolen bases during a 2-1 week.

Chloe Trimandalis, Danbury Softball. Trimandalis was 7 for 14, with seven runs scored and six RBIs, in four games.
