Tickets are now on sale for The Ruden Report’s 4th Annual FCIAC Awards Night, which is on October 12 at The Guest House at Sacred Heart University, from 6-8 p.m.

The celebration will honor three league coaches and three athletes. In the career achievement category, the recipient is St. Joseph football coach Joe Della Vecchia. The 2024-25 Coaches of the Year are Ridgefield girls basketball coach Rob Coloney and Staples boys basketball coach David Goldshore.

Fairfield Warde graduate Emily Dowd, Brien McMahon’s Grayson Farnum and Staples’ Bryn Morris are the Charlie Capalbo Inspiration Award winners as the FCIAC athletes who demonstrate excellence on the field and motivate through their actions off of it. Capalbo is the former Fairfield hockey goaltender who lost his public and national battle with cancer. Capalbo’s parents will be on hand to present the awards.

The event is also a fundraiser for The Ruden Report.
