We have six male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players of the Week.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Ryan Brooks, New Canaan Football. Brooks caught two touchdown passes and was part of a big defense effort in a 28-0 win over Staples.

Curtis Jackson, Wilton Football. Jackson led a big defensive effort in the Warriors’ 7-3 win over Greenwich.

Francisco Luzuriaga, Greenwich Soccer. Luzuriaga finished with a hat trick in the Cardinals’ 6-1 Class LL quarterfinal win over Notre Dame-West Haven.

Jake Rios, St. Joseph Football. Rios finished with four catches for 116 yards and two scores and forced a fumble in the Cadets’ 35-14 win over Fairfield Ludlowe.

Adrian Rodriguez, Staples Soccer. Rodriguez scored both goals in the Wreckers’ 2-0 Class LL quarterfinal win over Ridgefield.

Andrew Shelov, Fairfield Warde Football. Shevlov finished with seven catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns, plus a 79-yard punt return for a score in a win over Westhill.

Here are the female finalists:

Alden Charette, Greenwich Swimming. Charette won the Class LL diving championship with a score of 507.55.

Kate Fedor, Norwalk/McMahon Swimming. Fedor won the 100 backstroke at the Class LL championships in 56.71 and was part of a winning 200 medley relay team.

Ella Gussen, Fairfield Ludlowe Swimming. Gussen won the 200 IM at the Class LL championships in 2:08.21.

Emma Kelly, New Canaan Swimming. Kelly won then Class L diving title with a score of 530.75.

Mary Kelly, Ridgefield Swimming. Kelly won the 200 and 500 freestyle events at the Class LL championships.
