We have eight male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players of the Week.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Jimmy Dineen, Wilton Basketball. Dineen averaged 18.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in a 20-point win over Ridgefield and loss to St. Joseph.

Nate Elsner, Westhill Track. Elsner won the pole vault in a meet record at the FCIAC championships.

Jacob Mobley, Greenwich Track. Mobley won the shot put in a meet record at the FCIAC championships.

Carlo Noecker, Fairfield Ludlowe Basketball. Noecker scored 27 points to lead the Falcons to a win over town rival Fairfield Warde.

Blake Pozatek, New Canaan Hockey. Pozatek went 3-0 in goal, including his sixth shutout of the year.

Rysaiah Saunders, Danbury Track. Saunders won the 55 hurdles in a meet record at the FCIAC championships.

Tavaris Tweedie, Brien McMahon Basketball. Tweedie finished with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 4 blocks and 2 assists in a 77-62 win over Norwalk.

Chris Vance, Bridgeport Central Wrestling. Vance’s win at 285 pounds clinched the Hilltoppers’ win over Norwalk.

Here are the female finalists:

Sarah Bogdan, Staples Track. Bogdan won the 3,200 and finished third in the 1,600 at the FCIAC championships.

Tessa Chamberlin, Trumbull Gymnastics. Chamberlin won the FCIAC championship.

Eliana Daplyn, Greenwich Track. Daplyn won the 1,000 meters and was part of a winning SMR relay team at the FCIAC championships.

Lila Fiorita, Darien Hockey. Fiorita assisted on both goals in a 2-1 win over unbeaten New Canaan.

Tessa Gracia, Ridgefield Girls Basketball. Gracia averaged 13 points and 5.5 rebounds in a pair of big wins.

Alexandra Lockwood, Fairfield Ludlowe Track. Lockwood won the shot put in a meet record at the FCIAC championships.

Gabriella Rivera, Brien McMahon Track. Rivera won the 55 hurdles and the 300 at the FCIAC championships.
