We have five male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players of the Week.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the male finalists:
Chris Colsey, Ridgefield Lacrosse. Colsey finished with four goals and three assists as the Tigers overcame a late four-goal deficit to defeat Somers in overtime, 15-14.
Mark Kelly, Staples Baseball. Kelly went 6 for 11, with nine RBIs and a game-tying home run in the bottom of the seventh, in a win over Darien, plus added one win and one save on the mound.
Eliot Kwan, Fairfield Ludlowe Baseball. Kwan went 6 for 7, with eight RBIs, plus threw a one-hitter in a win over Norwalk.
Eli Restrepo, St. Joseph Lacrosse. Restrepo finished with four goals and one assist, and scored the game-winner with 1:11 left in a victory over Greenwich.
Liam Stumph, Trumbull Volleyball. Stumph finished with 15 kills, 15 digs and two aces in a win over Stamford.
Here are the female finalists:
Cora Barrett, Staples Softball. Barrett went 8 for 11, with two home runs and seven RBIs, in three games.
Analia Duran, Danbury Softball. Duran went 7 for 11, with five runs and four RBIs, in three wins.
Ellery Kraus, Darien Lacrosse. Kraus, a freshman recently brought up to the varsity, had a game-high five draw controls and scored a goal in a win over New Canaan.
Olivia Petrocelli, St. Joseph Softball. Perocelli went 7 for 11 with five RBIs, including going 4-5 with three RBIs in a win over Fairfield Ludlowe.
Maddie Pippa, Trumbull Softball. Pippa threw two shutouts, including a one-hitter against Darien, with 28 strikeouts with just two walks in 14 innings, plus had four hits and three RBIs.
