Matt Skelton of the Fairfield Warde boys soccer team and Kate Romanchick of the Trumbull girls cross country team are this week’s BlueStreak-Ruden Report Players of the Week.
Skelton and Romanchick will each receive our POTW T-shirts.
Skelton stopped three of five penalty kicks to lead the Mustangs to an FCIAC quarterfinal win over Darien.
Romanchick won the Class LL championship in a time of 19:22, a Trumbull school record.

The award will be judged on games/matches/meets played Monday through Saturday of each week. Please wait until an athlete is done competing for the week to submit your nomination.
