(Fun Facts, where we find out more about FCIAC athletes, was a regular feature on The Ruden Report Overtime newsletter. Until we start publishing the newsletter again, we are going to move it here to the site.)

A new Fun Facts with James Radman of the Fairfield Ludlowe boys soccer team.

— What was is like getting to play Fairfield Prep, a team you usually do not play, and beating them on your goal for the region title? It was great; as a kid it’s one of those games you always talked about with your teammates saying “I wish we could play them,” so it was great to get the chance to play them this season. Also lots of guys on both teams know one another, which makes it even better being on the winning side of those games.

— What was going through your head when you scored the goal to win the game? I scored with about 10 minutes left in the first half so right away I was just focused on trying to get another goal as well as tracking back and helping out defensively.

— How did it feel to win the game? It felt great to finish my high school career with a win against a town rival in a final. That’s every high school athlete’s dream. It’s just a shame that our student section couldn’t come, as the atmosphere would have been great.

— If you could go to dinner with any celebrity who would it be and why? I would go with Kevin Hart because he’s really funny.

— What is something besides soccer you enjoy doing? I enjoy watching and playing other sports like basketball and baseball.

— Where is your favorite place to get food in Fairfield and what do you order? Archie Moore’s — buffalo wings with a bacon cheeseburger.

— What is your favorite sport to watch and who do you cheer for? My favorite sport to watch is soccer and I’m a huge Arsenal fan.
