(Fun Facts, where we find out more about FCIAC athletes, was a regular feature on The Ruden Report Overtime newsletter. Until we start publishing the newsletter again, we are going to move it here to the site.)
A new Fun Facts with Greenwich quarterback James Rinello.
— What are some of the pregame rituals for you or your team? Last year before pretty much every game I would go to a local restaraunt, Ada’s, and get a bacon, egg and cheese with Kobe Comizio and AJ Barber.
— What is your favorite local restaurant and what do you get? Rinaldi’s. I like to get a Hanna with cones on a roll. A Hanna has a chicken cutlet, bacon, avocado, cheese and honey mustard.
— If you could have dinner with any famous person who would it be and why? Elon Musk. I feel like he would have a lot of interesting things to say.
— What are you most exited about at John Hopkins? Aside from the football aspect, I’m really excited for the chance to explore the city of Baltimore.
— What is your favorite vacation spot and why? My favorite vacation is the one my family takes to Maine every summer. We go to a really nice town close to Portland called Cape Elizabeth.
— How is your team handling football season this year with Covid? We just finished up our 7 on 7 mini season so now we are transitioning back to offseason mode. This means we will be lifting as a team and doing movement/conditioning training to prepare ourselves for a potential February/March season.
— What is something you enjoy doing in your free time and why? I like to play pickup basketball in my free time. We usually play at Riverside School and the games are always fun and competitive. We even had a 3 on 3 tournament this summer.
