Game of the Day: Wilton at Ridgefield. The Warriors certainly have not looked like championship contenders after a 1-1 start that included losing at Fairfield Warde on a layup at the buzzer Tuesday night. The question: is Wilton off to a slow start due to a two-week quarantine and repeated delays or, well, not really a contender? There is a shrinking list of teams that look like they can threaten the Tigers’ quest for a fourth FCIAC title in five years, and they will not be showing their biggest rival any mercy.
Curious about: Fairfield Warde at Darien. The Mustangs have been all over the map thus far. How will they play coming off the Wilton win on the road against the Blue Wave?
- Trumbull @ Staples, 5

- Fairfield Ludlowe @ Greenwich, 5
- Ridgefield @ Wilton, 5
- Darien @ Fairfield Warde, 5
- Stamford @ Brien McMahon, 5

Game of the Day: Trumbull at Staples. Game of the day, one of the games of the season. The Wreckers are a league-best 5-0, with wins over Danbury and now Fairfield Ludlowe, on Tuesday in overtime. They get no time to enjoy that victory as they host the Eagles, who also own a close win over the Falcons and have rolled since opening with a loss to Ridgefield. How will Staples handle Trumbull’s defensive pressure and depth? Can the Wreckers continue to get balanced scoring, and who will step up? A lot of questions, we will see which team has more answers.
Curious about: Danbury at New Canaan. The Hatters are 1-3, with the losses coming against league contenders. The Rams (3-2) have played well with the return of coach Kim Palmer.
