My Point: Ashley Wilson, Norwalk Girls Basketball Team

They are really taking a way a once in a lifetime experience. As a girls basketball state champ last year I’m pretty sure I can speak for my teammates and I when I say this it was a tremendous experience being able to get that far and having the opportunity to play at Mohegan.
That’s something that you will never forget as a student athlete or person in general. Seeing my friends and family supporting me in the stands or even just the arena fully crowded was an exciting experience in itself.
It’s a shame that this year’s winter students athletes, especially the seniors, won’t be able to have the opportunity to have this experience.
Ashley Wilson was a captain on last year’s Norwalk state championship girls basketball team. This was a comment to an Instagram post.
