Growing up playing sports, I remember enthusiastically turning to my town newspaper to see the write-ups on my teams and finding my name in the stories. The recognition truly made me feel special, and that memory is my driving passion behind The Ruden Report.
Now, over a decade later, The Ruden Report has been the voice of FCIAC sports —taking you behind the scenes and setting the standard for unrivaled coverage in the area. I’ve been humbled by the response and appreciation over the years as readership continues to grow.
At the outset, I was able to deliver all of this for free. But costs have skyrocketed and media companies of all sizes are facing challenges. I’ve been fortunate to have a loyal group of advertisers who have recognized the value of The Ruden Report and supported me. When I was forced to go to a subscription model, the cost was — and is — modest.
In order to continue delivering what you’ve come to expect at a reasonable price, I have organized The Ruden Report Rally. All revenue raised from your generosity this month is being turned right back into the site, maintaining and hopefully growing coverage while finding the newest ways to bring them to you.
