The Ruden Report Is Going On A Brief Hiatus
Dave Ruden

Darien-New Canaan II. For the state football championship.
It doesn’t get much bigger in these parts.
And lets not forget St. Joseph-Ledyard, one of the most intriguing final matchups.
This weekend is like dessert for anyone that likes high school football. Including the media.
I guess it is safe to say I am being sent to bed without my dessert. Quite literally.
I found out last Thursday that I have to have surgery, which is being performed on Tuesday afternoon. It is the reason I didn’t preview or attend the state semifinal games last weekend, and why I will be following from home again on Saturday.
The good news is that I should be able to get back to doing what I love most — running The Ruden Report — in a short period of time.
Until then, I am reduced to being a spectator this weekend.
I look forward to getting back to my day job and seeing you in the gymnasiums and hockey rinks very soon.
