Three years ago my senior interns for their final project went out and interviewed senior athletes, giving them a chance to say thank you or share their favorite memories.

We decided to recreate that project, as a sister piece to our recent senior portraits, to close out the school year. Led by Staples senior Aly Sivinski, with the help of Wilton senior Olivia Waldron and editing by Cooper Boardman, they put together The Ruden Report Senior Sendoff.

Because of the pandemic, instead of going out and videoing the athletes we asked them to make their own recordings. That led to our one difficulty, representation from all schools. We reached out to two seniors from all 17 schools but videos that were promised were not sent in and some people did not respond.

Still, Aly and Olivia got a good representation from this senior class. Here is the result of their hard work.
