Norwalk’s Silas Redd, a graduate of King, beat the odds when he made the Washington Redskins’ roster as a free agent this summer.
On Sunday, Redd scored his first professional touchdown, a 14-yard run in which he reversed field, the final points in the Redskins’ 41-10 rout of the Jaguars.
Redd finished with 41 yards on eight carries.
