The St. Joseph football team’s motto is “Win Every Day” (two words, Cadets, two words!).
In the postseason, it seems like the Cadets can alter that to “Score Every Play.” It sure has appeared that way as St. Joseph put up a head-spinning 146 points five days apart in winning two state tournament games. That includes Saturday’s 62-34 rout of Joel Barlow.
St. Joseph, 0-2 against New Canaan and 12-0 against everyone else, will face Brookfield for the state championship next Saturday.
Despite losing star running back Mufasha Abdul-Basir early in the game, Shane Miller rushed for 190 yards and three touchdowns. The Cadets also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns.
Here are the scoring highlights from the game.
Thanks to our friends at Scott Enterprises for putting another great highlight package together for The Ruden Report.
