Video Spotlight: Stamford’s 62-49 Win Over Westhill

The FCIAC boys basketball landscape seems to change in 24-hour cycles. The latest example came Wednesday night at Westhill High School, when Stamford made the short trip across the city and came away with a 62-49 win over the state’s No. 7-ranked team. Gianni Carwin finished with 24 points, Kenny Wright added 17 and Kweshon Askew had 13 points, 12 rebounds and 8 blocks for the Black Knights, who climbed within a half game of the Vikings and Ridgefield for third place in the conference standings.

Westhill High School student and Ruden Report videographer Mickey Sottile captured many of the best plays, including a nifty alley-oop dunk by Askew.

Here are the highlights.
