We have four athletes on the menu for the 84 Sports Unsung Player of the Week award. The vote runs until 10 a.m. on Wednesday. The winner gets our UPOTW T-shirt.
The finalists:
Emerson Anvari, Staples Boys Soccer. Anvari came off the bench in the second half and scored a goal and had an assist in a win over Brien McMahon.
Carrigan Cullinan, Trumbull Boys Soccer. Cullinan has led a defense that has three shutouts during a five-match unbeaten streak.
Karl Pfeiffer, Wilton Boys Soccer. Pfeiffer led the defense during a 3-0 win over Danbury.
Alex Wolter, New Canaan Boys Soccer. Wolter made some key saves in goal during a 1-0 win over Ridgefield.
