Vote For The BlueStreak-Ruden Report Fall Male Player Of The Year

After a long list of memorable accomplishments over the past two months, it is time for you to decide who was the very best of the best. We have selected four outstanding finalists for our BlueStreak-Ruden Report FCIAC Fall Male Player of the Year award.

The winner will receive a trophy from BlueStreak Sports Training and The Ruden Report.

Here are the finalists, who were all named to the All-FCIAC and All-State teams, and their accomplishments (based on information submitted by coaches):

NICK BARTELS, GREENWICH SOCCER: Bartels finished with 29 goals and 16 assists for the Cardinals.

TAVOY MORGAN, BASSICK SOCCER: Morgan finished with 16 goals and 10 assists for the Lions.

ALEX OSTBERG, DARIEN CROSS COUNTRY: Ostberg was undefeated, winning the FCIAC, Class L, State Open and New England Championships, setting meet records in the first three.

LORIN TOBEY, LUDLOWE SOCCER: Tobey finished with 1 goal, 12 assists and led a defense that posted 11 shutouts.

Those are the four finalists. You have until noon on Wednesday to select the 2014 BlueStreak-Ruden Report FCIAC Spring Male Player of the Year.
