New Balance is introducing on Wednesday the new 980 running shoe, which features its latest Fresh Foam technology. And New Balance New Canaan, which is selling it exclusively in the area, is giving away a pair to an FCIAC male track athlete in the Fresh Foam Sprint.
We have 10 contestants (we contacted every league coach to select a member of their team). The contest is simple: This is a 24-hour vote, from 7 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday. The winner will receive a pair of the new shoes, to be presented during New Canaan New Balance’s Fresh Foam party Thursday night at the store from 6-9 p.m.
