We have five finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week vote.
The vote will run until noon on Wednesday. The winner will get our POTW T-shirt, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the finalists:
Lily Archibald, Ridgefield Swimming. Archibald won the 100 butterfly and was part of two winning relays to help then Tigers win their first State Open title.
Annabel Edwards, Staples Soccer. Edwards scored three goals in under seven minutes at the start of the second half to lead the Wreckers to a 4-1 win over Cheshire for the Class LL title.
Sara Parker, St. Joseph Soccer. Parker scored twice in a 3-0 win over Notre Dame-Fairfield to win the Class L title.
Ryan Hapgood, Darien Field Hockey. Hapgood scored three goals in a 4-0 win over Wilton for the Class L title.
Maximo Ferrario, Greenwich Soccer. Ferrario scored twice and added a penalty kicks to help Greenwich with a state title for the first time in 61 years with a 3-2 (4-3 PKs) win over Hall in the Class LL final.
