Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player Of The Week

We have seven finalists from FCIAC championship week for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week vote.

The vote will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our new performance T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Zach Broderick, Fairfield Warde Baseball. Broderick threw a complete-game four-hit shutout to lead the Mustangs to a 9-0 win for the FCIAC championship.

Ava Harvey, Staples Girls Track. Harvey won the long jump and triple jump at the FCIAC championships.

Matthew Minicus, Darien Boys Lacrosse. Minicus finished with three goals and four assists to lead Darien to a 15-3 win over Staples for the FCIAC championship.

Andrew O’Donnell, Greenwich Boys Track. O’Donnell won the 200, 400 and was part of winning 4×400 relay team at the FCIAC championships.

Dillyn Patten, New Canaan Girls Lacrosse. Patten finished with four goals, three draw controls, two caused turnovers and two ground balls in the Rams’ 7-4 win over Darien for the FCIAC championship.

Maddy Reyes, Fairfield Ludlowe Softball. Reyes hit a three-run triple to key the Falcons’ 6-3 win over St. Joseph for the FCIAC championship.

Alanna Smith, Danbury Girls Track. Smith won the 100, 200 and 400 at the FCIAC championships.
