We have seven finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week vote.
The vote will run until noon on Thursday. The winner will get our POTW T-shirt, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the finalists:
Johnathan Angione, Brien McMahon Football. Angione finished with 171 total yards and three touchdowns in a 42-13 win over Norwalk.
Aaron Field, Fairfield Ludlowe Football. Field finished with 323 yards on 24 carries, two touchdowns, two interceptions and 10 tackles in a 28-15 win over Fairfield Warde.
Robbie Hinkle, Ridgefield Football. Hinkle scored a touchdown and had a late interception to secure a 21-17 win over Danbury.
Will Holleman, Staples Football. Holleman had an interception and scored the game-winning touchdown with 1:06 left in a 39-38 win over Greenwich.
Ejai Presley, Stamford Football. Presley threw a 49-yard touchdown pass and ran for two scores in a 33-6 win over Westhill.
Matt Salmini, New Canaan Football. Salmini was named game MVP after leading a strong defensive effort, including a late goal-line stand, in a 13-10 win over Darien.
Logan Spoelstra, St. Joseph Football. Spoelstra kicked two field goals, including the game-winner with two seconds left, in a 20-17 win over Trumbull.
