We have four finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week vote.
The vote will run until noon on Thursday. The winner will get our POTW T-shirt, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the finalists:
Jermaine Hatchett, St. Joseph Football. Hatchett’s 70-yard interception return for a touchdown ignited the Cadets’ to a 17-10 Class M semifinal win over Daniel Hand.
Aleksandre Kvaratskhelia, Greenwich Football. Kvaratskhelia pinned Staples deep in its own territory with his punting repeatedly in a 14-0 Class LL semifinal win.
Ben Rolapp, Darien Football. Rolapp threw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-21 win over Notre Dame-West Haven.
Michael Smith, New Canaan Football. Smith scored a touchdown, had two interceptions, blocked an extra point and had a number of tackles and defended passes in a 35-20 semifinal win over Newtown.
