We have four finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the finalists:
Sophie Desiano, Ridgefield Basketball. Desiano scored 9 points, had a strong game running the offense and was named MVP as the Tigers defeated Fairfield Warde for the FCIAC title.
Rylee Donohue, Norwalk Wrestling. Donohue won the 132-pound title at the state wrestling championships.
Bella Lonergan, Darien Hockey. Lonergan stopped 26 shots and was named the MVP of the Blue Wave’s 2-0 win over New Canaan for its third straight FCIAC title.
Adam Udell, Staples Basketball. Udell finished with 24 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds and was named MVP as the Wreckers defeated Ridgefield for its first FCAIC title since 1963.
