Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have eight male and seven female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Eric Andrade, Westhill Football. Andrade had 118 yards on 13 carries and two scores and three receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown in a 46-32 win over Bridgeport Central.

Owen Bull, Trumbull Soccer. Bull finished with four goals and an assist in a 6-0 FCIAC quarterfinal win over Brien McMahon.

Mikey ByrnesWilton Cross Country. Byrnes won the Class MM championship in 16:31.

Simeon Doll, Darien Football. Doll threw for 388 yards and a touchdown and ran for another in a 28-20 loss to Greenwich.

Steven Hergenroether, Ridgefield Cross Country. Hergenroether won the Class LL championship in 15:53.

Declan Nestor, Stamford Football. Nestor had 14 tackles, three sacks, six pressures, blocked a punt and recovered an onside kick in a 27-13 win over Brien McMahon.

Jake PacachaSt. Joseph Soccer. Pacacha scored two goals in his final match, a win over Wilton, to give him 16 for the season.

James Wailgum, Greenwich Football. Wailgum had 11 catches for 147 yards in a 28-20 win over Darien.

Here are the female finalists:

Evelyn Chudowsky, Staples Soccer. Chudowsky scored in a season-ending draw with Ludlowe and a 3-0 FCIAC quarterfinal win over Brien McMahon.

Shawna Ferraro, New Canaan Field Hockey. Ferraro scored two goals in a 3-2 FCIAC quarterfinal win over Ridgefield.

Clara Grosner, Fairfield Ludlowe Volleyball. Grosner finished with 27 assists in a win over Danbury to give her 500 for the season.

Ryan HapgoodDarien Field Hockey. Hapgood scored five of the Blue Wave’s first seven goals in a 9-0 FCIAC quarterfinal win over Fairfield Ludlowe.

Erin Lovett, St. Joseph Volleyball. Lovett finished with 53 kills as the Cadets went 2-1 for the week.

Aly Rappaport, Wilton Volleyball. Rappaport had 43 assists and six digs in a 3-2 win over Greenwich.

Kathryn MarchandTrumbull Cross Country. Marchand won the Class LL championship in 19:00.
