We have five finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week vote.
The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winner will get our POTW T-shirt, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the finalists:
Stefan Cordas, Trumbull Soccer. Cordas scored twice in the Eagles’ 4-1 win over Darien for the FCIAC title.
Steven Hergenrother, Ridgefield Cross Country. Hergenrother won the State Open championship in 15:42.
Aubrey Moore, Darien Volleyball. Moore was named MVP after finishing with 39 assists to help lead Darien to a 3-2 win over Trumbull for the FCIAC title.
Annam Olasewere, Staples Swimming. Olasewere set the state record in the 100 freestyle and was part of a winning relay, earning the most outstanding swimmer honor at the FCIAC championships.
Alexa Pino, St. Joseph Soccer. Pino scored all three goals and was named MVP in a 3-1 win over Staples for the FCIAC title.
