Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have seven male and four female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Brennan Cutter, Trumbull Volleyball. Cutter finished with 20 kills and five digs in the Eagles’ 3-1 win over Masuk.

Carter Hagen, Darien Lacrosse. Hagen was outstanding with 21 saves in goal during a 9-8 win over Fairfield Prep in a battle of the state’s top two teams in the preseason poll.

Raffe Katts, St. Joseph Lacrosse. Katts finished with seven goals in a game against Avon.

Spencer Liston, Wilton Lacrosse. Liston won 21 of 26 draws and scored twice in the Warriors’ 17-5 win over Somers.

Max Makover, Brien McMahon Lacrosse. Makover scored the winning goal in overtime as the Senators overcame a 5-1 deficit for a 12-11 win over Horace Greeley.

Gavin Rothenberg, Staples Lacrosse. Rothenberg finished with three goals and two assists in a 10-5 win over Iona Prep.

Matt Skiendziel, Westhill Volleyball. Skiendziel finished with 37 assists in a 3-0 win over Brookfield.


Here are the female finalists:

Isabella Crowley, Ridgefield Lacrosse. Crowley had 12 saves — seven in the first half – in the Tigers’ 13-3 win over John Jay.

Rose Dunne, Brien McMahon Lacrosse. Dunne finished with three goals and won 70 percent of her draw controls in a win over Stratford/Bunnell.

Chloe Humphrey, Darien Lacrosse. Humphrey opened the season with six goals and three assists in an 18-5 win over Manhassett.

Madison Sweeney, Stamford Lacrosse. Sweeney finished with five goals, giving her 103 for her career, and two assists, in a game against Rockville.
