Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have six male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Griffith Crouse, Darien Volleyball. Crouse finished with 33 assists in a win over Trumbull, a rematch of last year’s league and state finals.

Griffin Polley, Fairfield Warde Baseball. Polley had seven hits, including two home runs, and 10 RBIs in three games.

Charlie Rath, Wilton Lacrosse. Rath scored six goals in an overtime win over Yorktown and the clinching goal in a win over No. 1 Staples.

Chase Siegel, Staples Baseball. Siegel threw a six-inning perfect game with 10 strikeouts in a 10-0 win over Danbury.

Lucas Williams, Ridgefield Track. Williams won the high jump, javelin, discus and pole vault in a meet against Danbury.


Lilybeth Coury, Ridgefield Softball. Coury had two doubles and five RBIs in a 12-0 win over Lauralton Hall.

Jolie Osborne, Danbury Lacrosse. Osborne finished with six goals and two assists in a 9-7 win over Shelton.

Sydney Patten, New Canaan Lacrosse. Patten finished with seven goals and two assists in a pair of wins.

Molly Snow, Wilton Lacrosse. Snow finished with five goals and nine assists in two games in which she set the school career assists record and scored her 100th career goal.

Elisa Tunuru, Fairfield Warde Tennis. Tunuru, a sophomore, won all three of her matches at No. 1 singles to remain unbeaten this season.

Chelsea Villar, Fairfield Ludlowe Softball. Villar went eight for 13 with three home runs and 10 RBIs in three wins.
