Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have five male and six female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Tyler Clark, Staples Lacrosse. Clark finished with four goals and five assists in a 12-11 loss to St. John’s Prep (MA).

Kyle Colsey, Ridgefield Lacrosse. Colsey scored nine goals and added an assist in a 15-10 win over Greenwich.

Paddy Galvin, Fairfield Warde Baseball. Galvin pitched a complete-game three-hit shutout against No. 1 Staples and went eight for 13 with six RBIs in four wins.

Charlie Johnson, Wilton Lacrosse. Johnson scored five goals in an 11-10 win over Chaminade.

Will Singewald, St. Joseph Baseball. Singewald hit three home runs in a win over Brien McMahon.


Emma Abbazia, Greenwich Lacrosse. Abbazia finished with eight goals, two assists, 10 draw controls and eight forced turnovers in two games.

Bella DeFelice, New Canaan Track. DeFelice won the discus and the shot put at the Middletown Invitational.

Kelsea Flanagan, St. Joseph Softball. Flanagan went 7 for 11, with three doubles, a home run and five RBIs in three games.

Sarah Kalb, Staples Softball. Kalb, a freshman, went 6 for 10, hitting a home run in a 3-1 win over Trumbull and hitting a two-run, two-out game-tying single in a 7-6 win over Stamford.

Sadie Klyver, Wilton Softball. Klyver pitched a no-hitter with eight strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Trumbull.

Sadie Stafford, Darien Lacrosse. Stafford scored a career-high six goals in a 17-7 win over unbeaten Wilton.
