Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have nine male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Jamar Alcena, Norwalk Track. Allen won the 100 meters at the FCIAC championships.

Derek Amlicke, Staples Track. Amlicke won the pole vault at the FCIAC championships.

Gianluca Bianchi, Greenwich Track. Bianchi won the 200 meters and was part of the winning 4×400 relay team that clinched the team title at the FCIAC championships.

Rodolfo Blake, Fairfield Warde Track. Blake won the 3,200 meters at the FCIAC championships.

Evan Blankenship, Wilton Lacrosse. Blankenship stopped 12 shots to lead the Warriors to their first FCIAC title since 1999.

Evan Dadson, Trumbull Track. Dawson won the 110 hurdles at the FCIAC championships.

Steven Hergenrother, Ridgefield Track. Hergenrother won the 1,600 and 3,200 meters at the FCIAC championships.

Trevor Herget, Darien Volleyball. Herget finished with 12 kills, seven digs, 16 service points and seven aces to earn MVP honors as the Blue Wave swept Trumbull for the FCIAC title.

Jonathan Joyner, Danbury Track. Joyner won the triple jump at the FCIAC championships.


Here are the female finalists:

Esme Daplyn, Greenwich Track. Daplyn won the 800 and 1,600 meters at the FCIAC championships.

Cam Meyer, Darien Track. Meyer won the 3,200 at the FCIAC championships.

Jill Roberts, Wilton Track. Roberts won the 100 meters, 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles at the FCIAC championships.

Lauren Smith, New Canaan Track. Smith won the javelin and was second in the shotput at the FCIAC championships.

Tia Stapleton, Fairfield Ludlowe Track. Stapleton won the high jump, long jump and triple jump at the FCIAC championships.
