Vote For The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Players Of The Week

We have seven male and five female finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week votes.

The votes will run until noon on Thursday. The winners will get our POTW T-shirts, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.

Here are the male finalists:

Erick Andrade, Westhill Football. Andrade carried the ball 16 times for 179 yards and two scores and had two receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown. 

Chris Bellantoni, Fairfield Ludlowe Football. Bellantoni threw for five touchdowns in a win over Simsbury.

Jahiem Daniel, Brien McMahon Football. Daniel had 16 carries for 129 yards and three touchdowns on offense and seven tackles (six solo), two for a loss, and a fumble recovery on defense in a win over Amity. 

John Insinga, Greenwich Football. Insinga finished with nine tackles, four for a loss, and three hurries in a win over Fairfield Prep.

Camrin Jean Pierre, Stamford Football. Jean Pierre had 240 all purpose yards, including seven carries for 174 yards and touchdown runs of 53 and 90 yards in a win over NFA.

Rowan Johnston, Trumbull Football. Johnston gained 180 yards on 31 carries and scored six times in a double-overtime loss to Hamden.

Bear Schoenberg, Danbury Football. Schoenberg finished with 12 tackles — six for a loss — and two sacks in a win over Glastonbury.


Here are the female finalists:

Julia Acosta, Greenwich Soccer. Acosta scored on a set piece and set up a number of chances in a 2-0 win over Brien McMahon.

Liza Fogelson, Norwalk Field Hockey. Fogelson, a freshman, scored all five of her goals in the first quarter of a 6-0 win over Brien McMahon in a game that was called at halftime due to weather.

Olivia Keating, Ridgefield Field Hockey. Keating scored the first two goals in a 4-2 win over New Canaan.

Alex Riehl, Trumbull Soccer. Riehl had three goals and an assist to help the Eagles take a 4-0 lead in what became an 8-0 win over Westhill.

Ashley Stockdale, Darien Field Hockey. Stockdale finished with three goals and three assists in a 10-0 win over Fairfield Ludlowe.
