We have four state semifinal football finalists for The Ruden Report-Fairfield County Bank Player of the Week vote.
The vote will run until noon on Thursday. The winner will get our POTW T-shirt, courtesy of Fairfield County Bank.
Here are the finalists:
Ben Rolapp, Darien. Rolapp threw three touchdown passes in the Blue Wave’s 21-0 Class L semifinal win over Newtown.
Caleb Smith, Staples: Smith ran for three touchdown, threw for another and became the school’s all-time passing leader in a 41-0 Class LL win over Southington.
Tucker Stevens, New Canaan. Stevens kicked a 37-field goal on the final play to give the Rams an 11-8 Class L semifinal win over Maloney.
Todd Woodring, Wilton. Woodring returned an interception for a score and was part of a defensive unit that held Masuk just under 200 yards in a 35-10 Class MM win.
